age 11-12 (includes playing age 10 if in 5th grade).

League plays on 70' base paths with a 48'-50' pitching distance.
American
League is a recreational league with the focus on fun and player
development.
Bronco
American League:
- bats through the order (vs using
substitution).
- minimum play time of 5 innings in a regulation game
- uses lead offs and holding runners on
- dropped third strike 2nd half of season
- big barrel bats allowed
- metal cleats allowed
- plays regularly scheduled games interleague with Irvine Bronco
American League
- plays with similar ages, no shifting of players into younger age
groups
- infield play rule, each player gets one inning in infield
(safety exceptions apply)
- standard game is 7 innings
American League Bronco Division will play
interleague with Irvine American League. Home games will
be at Heroes Park and away games will be in Irvine.
